A 1.1 What types of fuel are these products suitable for storing?
The Fuelcubes are suitable for the storage of diesel, gas oil and kerosene. They are not suitable for storing petrol, avgas or jet a-1 fuel.
A 1.2 Does the Fuelcube comply with current environmental regulations?
Yes. Our equipment is compliant with the PPG2 (Pollution Prevention) guidelines. The tanks are all fully bunded to ensure minimum risk of leaks and spills.
A 1.3 How is the inner tank filled with fuel?
The Fuelcube is filled by removing the 3" filler cap located inside the bund area, inserting the trigger into the 3" fill point then commencing filling. The 3" filler cap is then replaced.
A 1.4 How is fuel dispensed from the tank?
After removing the hose and trigger from the bunded area and checking the hose for kinks, the trigger is inserted into the fuel tank of the vehicle being refuelled, and the 1" ball valve is opened. The trigger is then opened and refuelling can commence. When refuelling has been completed, the trigger is closed and is returned to the bunded area along with the hose. Finally the 1" ball valve is closed.
A 1.5 Can the Fuelcubes be lifted full of fuel?
Yes. There are two lifting eyes on the sides of the Fuelcubes which can be used for lifting and moving the unit even when full of fuel.
A 1.6 Is any maintenance required on the Fuelcube?
Yes. Periodically the fuel filter strainer on the outlet of the tank should be removed and the mesh strainer cleaned. Fuel delivery hose and fittings should be checked for leaks weekly, and the bund area should be kept clean at all times.
A 1.7 Is the Fuelcube covered by warranty?
Yes. The structure of the tank is covered by a 12 month warranty. The fuel delivery equipment including pump, hose, trigger and filter is covered by a 3 month warranty.
